The LEDAPS project is generating two basic types of Landsat product for download: reflectance (surface and top-of-Atmosphere) and forest disturbance products. The characteristics of each product type are given below.

Reflectance Products
  • Full-resolution TOA reflectance("REF")

  • Full-resolution surface reflectance("SR")
    • Atmospherically corrected surface reflectance

  • 500m surface reflectance aggragates
    • Atmospherically corrected surface reflectance
    • Lambert EA projection, 500m resolution

    • ~1MB compressed; ~3MB uncompressed(16-bit)

  • 500m North America surface reflectance mosaic (1990 and 2000 epochs)
    • Atmospherically corrected surface reflectance
    • Lambert EA projection, 500m resolution
    • North America mosaic for 1990 and 2000
    • ~150MB compressed; ~400MB uncompressed(per spectral band)(16-bit)

Current (Beta) version is a Mid-Atlantic subset of this product from upper left of W82:06:00.0 N41:21:00.0 to lower right of W73:33:00.0 N35:03:00.0
