The University of Maryland NAFD project is combining the USDS FIA and Landsat information source to characterize recent trends in North American forest disturbance and regrowth. For more information on the project, see: http://www.geog.umd.edu/nacp.goward/

The NAFD project is using a geographic sample of Landsat time-series (1 image every 2 years) in order to characterize forest disturbance history and regeneration. Clicking on one of the path/row locations below will take you to a list of available imagery for that location, as well as disturbance analysis. For more information on NAFD file types, processing, and formats please consult the Users Guide.
